Life is not to be measured in the number of breaths we take, but in the number of moments we make.

Spent the week with Vic and John and Madie..
Hmm, it seems that we did a lot during our short week's stay in Sydney. Well it appears that way by the number of photos I am waiting to download whilst I write this post. There is some 135 pics from just one week. I wonder why,,, but he reason is simple,, Little Maddie seems to be in the majority of them.
Now that's not to discount Little Owen in the slightest, on a back check on pics,,, Owen is most certainly holding his own in the picture stakes.
Now, what did we do?
1. Off to Dee Why beach to check out the humongous waves.
2. Took Maddie to, and picked her up from playgroup.
3. Helped John dismantle his bike in preparation for rebuilding the group set, shifters, chain, derailleurs...
4. Shopping at the Warringah Mall.
5. Hanging out at Vic and John's new home.
6. Celebrated my birthday with Sue and Dim and Vic and Jon and Maddie.
7. A visit to Manly Dam to feed the ducks and swans.
8. Bus trip to Manly Food and Wine Festival and especially checking out the petting zoo with Maddie.
9. Drew pictures on Maddie's new (cardboard) cave.
Maddie, now at 19 months is such a delight and is able to communicate all her needs with the a mere gesture. Great fun helping out with bath time and baby sitting.

First Trip to Shepparton
After returning from Fiji and after Steve, Regan and Owen had settled into their town house in Shepparton we paid them a visit. The trip from Geelong to Shep takes about 3 1/2 hours by car. Helped Steve pick up and assemble their new dining room setting. This post is a little late, the visit was around the 4th September 2010, but the pics were on the camera which has not seen a down load for a while. We had a great time engaged in long conversations with Owen.

Madeleine Climbing and UCI World Championships in Geelong
Madeleine, now 10 months old, has discovered how to climb on furniture. Vic and John were viiting this weekend and left Maddie with us to vivit friends.
Before they left they had a baby who was happy to crawl around the floor, upon returning she had progressed to funiture.
Of course the reason Vic John and maddie were down in Geelong was for the UCI World Champinships.
Here is a link to the racing. http://www.cyclingtipsblog.com/2010/10/hushovd-defies-the-odds/#more-14827
Vic's most memorable moment was riding with Thor Hushovd in Torquay the day before he won the race. Cool huh?
