At the Sterling Stage.
Chris wins heaps of cudos after arriving at his Scott VIP function the evening after the morning he was knocked off his bike by a truck -- a bloody big truck at that. He refused the ambulance 'whistle' pain relief. Damage: broken collar bone and scapula and suspect knee. He is hiding it well with a big smile. behind Vic.

Gaye wings off to Canada to visit Mom and family mid winter -- brrrrr.

I sail with Ryan, Chris, Luke and Gazza to Tasmania and back.

A brilliant trip. Great sail to the Hunter Group of islands. Took 30 hours. Stayed for 4 days catching and eating fish, abalone and crays. Then a sprung sheet sail to beauty point at the entrance to the Tamar River. Stayed awaiting the tide so we could proceed up the river 30 miles to Launceston. Stumbled across the Lonnie annual festival for drinks and entertainment. Then off to the Wooden boat show in Hobart by hire car. Back the following day and down the river with barbie cooking up rissoles to go with the cold beers we found in the bottom of the ice box. The run back to Queenscliff was champagne sailing. 8 to 12 knots of NE wind all day and that night with sprung sheets then a 20 k easterly the following morning let us set the assa' so we could make the 12;30 slack water at the rip. Ryan served the now customary first rum and ginger beer after successfully negotiating the rip, Arrived back in Geelong at 5:00 pm in time for a Walker chicken dinner and to celebrate Tim's recently announced engagement..

Heard that Mia is walking. 10th Feb I think was the date.

(trying to get the pic off of my phone.)
