Percy Island in the Evening

Percy Island is a must stopover when travelling up or down the Queensland Coast. It is here that the A Frame containing all the yachting memorabilia exists. On this trip We determined to leave the ships wood spoon upon which Lou carved our names and made them permanent with nail polish.

Also caught up with Jenny on her beautiful 40 foot Hans Christian yacht, Indian Summer. Gaye and I had previously met Jenny in Brisban where she was preparing Indian Summer for some extended cruising. She unfortunately had some transmission problems and looks like the boat will be in Mackay for repairs.

En route to southport

Departed Yepoon after refueling. Now on our way to Southport. Will go outside Fraser Island and have an ETA to arrive southport at 0500 sunday.
