John, Darryl and Jimmy delivered Bundy to Queensland. This wasn’t the first try. Last year they were turned around just North of Stradbroke Island due to Covid restrictions. This year they were successful despite 50k off the Prom which shredded the staysail.
Rocky and I grabbed a Qantas flight to Hamo, then a ferry to Airlie where John had secured a berth for the duration of Airlie Beach Race Week.
Needless to say, we had an excellent time racing. Edit…edit…edit.
