Life is not to be measured in the number of breaths we take, but in the number of moments we make.

Easter and --- the Pirate Hits the Beach.
Easter for Steve, Regan and Owen was a trip to Geelong and an opportunity for Owen to check out the beach. He got dressed up in his 'Pirate' shirt especially for the occasion. I think we have a water baby here.
Easter for Vic, John, Maddie was to be a great family get together with John's parents, Jeff and Jill. Unfortunately it turned out to be the 'holiday from hell' (Vic's words) due to Maddie bringing home a stomach flu from day care which hit everybody, except Jill, who can survive anything.
After Jill and Jeff left for home, Vic and John still had 4 days holiday leave left. But 'only two of which were Maddie free days'. (Vics words again.)
Vic and John's solution to Maddie's recent refusal to eat at the table is to have 'private' discussions about things that interest Maddie.
Even though Maddie did everybody the flu, she is still adorable:

Owen - What a Champion
Here is Owen just after the procedure on his kidney today. The op to open up an exploratory hole at the top of his good kidney was to take 1/2 an hour, but took 1 1/2 hrs because the plumbing was not where the doctor expected it to be. Gaye reports that he was alert and active and ready to eat as soon as he came out of recovery.

Back in Sydney
Gaye and I are back in Sydney to help Vic and John with their move to their new home. No pics yet, but will have plenty from the move scheduled for tomorrow - Monday.
We spend Friday evening with Dim and Sue at Deus (a motorbike and bicycle shop specialising in retro machinery) and Saturday morning at the Redfern Market for a breakfast of Chinese dim sims and pancakes.
Saturday afternoon we caught up with John F on Spirited One on the Hawksbury River.
