From the Mouths of Babes
Two stories to report.
The Shepparton holiday is over. We have had a great time spoiling the grandchildren and they are now handed back to their respective parents for ... well fixing.
We may have permanently damaged little two year old Mia.
Her Mom reports that over breakfast this morning she was heard to say; "Its all about me"
I wonder where ever could she have got that notion from?
Story No 2.
Vic loves flying her kite. She also likes to grab a well earned rest when the rare opportunity comes up. Yesterday afternoon Mia and Maddie were excited when Dad offered to take them to the park to fly their kite. Vic was offered the choice of going with them or stopping behind at home for a rest. Whilst making up her mind and saying she would like to do both, little 4 year old Maddie chimes in ; " I don't think you could fly your kite from bed Mom."

Greenedge Ride and Shepparton Visit
Vic and John made the very brave and heroic decision to drive from Sydney to SHepparton with Maddie (4 years old) and Mia (2 years old) and Rolo (the teenage puppy) using the tent as accommodation. Its an 8 hour drive and they thought it a good ice breaker for a trip later this month down to Geelong for Xmas.
Well it all worked out fine. No car sickness and the girls and Rolo behaved amicably towards each other despite the cramped conditions.
Steve, Regan, Owen and Alannah were wonderful hosts. The kids enjoying each others company to the fullest.

John chose to do the 140 klm ride which took in some decent hill climbs up behind Yea, whilst Vic and I did the 50 klm ride from the Michelton Winery to Seymour along the picturesque Goulburn River.
